It is by being our brothers and sisters keeper, knowing the difference between a helping hand and a hand-out, working together, laughing together, crying together, pining together, believing in our hearts from generation to generation that all things are possible and that we can “all” help to make a better America, by fighting the good fight and running the race, so that when this race of life is over and in our final moments before we are no more, we are unequivocally assured in our hearts and minds, that we are leaving a better America, a better World, for our children and our children’s children!

I don’t know what the tomorrows hold for us, but I do know “that God holds our tomorrows!” God will not do for you what He has empowered you to do for yourself! He will open new doors, but we would have to walk through; He gave us free will to choose and He will guide us, but the choice we make must be ours!

Pharaoh, (George W. Bush) and his army, (The Republican Congress) chased us from 2001 to 2009 to into the financial Red Sea, and yes, Yahweh did open New Seas for us on November 4^th 2008 and we crossed over on January 20^th 2009 heading to the promised land. At the moment, we sometimes come up short of water and become thirsty but the Almighty splits the rock and give us drink; we get hungry, but Jehovah always provide us with Manna and though it seems like we are still drifting at the moment, we are going in the right direction.

The faithful question is, are we going to be like the Israelites? Are we going to continue to taunt Moses (Obama), and threaten that although Pharaoh is no more, we want to go back and be slaves to Pharaoh’s army?

I don’t know about you and can’t speak for you, but I do know “that my God does not want me to go backwards, for He is a God of new beginnings, new tomorrows, A God who desires for me to keep pressing forward in the words of the Hymn” –

Onward, Christian soldiers, marching as to war,
With the cross of Jesus going on before.
Christ, the royal Master, leads against the foe;
Forward into battle see His banners go!

You don’t need guidance from CNN, MSNBC, FOX and the multitude of Media Outlets to guide you, all you need to do is to look up with a contrite heart, be still, hear the soothing voice of your Lord and let your conscience be your guide on November 2^nd, 2010
